Job Overview: The Appraisal Coordinator plays a critical role in managing the appraisal process for the company, ensuring that all orders are placed in compliance with regulatory guidelines such as the Appraisal Independence Rule, USPAP, and FHA/VA requirements. This role is responsible for reviewing loan details and assigning appraisal orders to the most suitable appraisers while maintaining adherence to agency guidelines. Key responsibilities include tracking outstanding orders, managing the Appraisal Department’s shared inbox, and providing timely updates on order statuses and potential delays. The Appraisal Coordinator works closely with both the Appraisal and Production Teams to ensure appraisal turn times align with company goals. Additionally, the position involves running detailed internal reports to identify priority issues, processing incoming appraisals into the loan file, and entering relevant data into Encompass. The Appraisal Coordinator may also assist with appraisal reviews in collaboration with the Appraisal Reviewer and Team Lead, depending on team volume and needs. Responsibilities Clients Come First .
