AUTOMOTIVE GENERAL SALES MANAGER

Responsibilities - GSM:

  • Oversee all aspects of the new and pre-owned sales departments
  • Recruit, train, and coach the sales team to meet and exceed goals
  • Set and manage sales and gross profit targets
  • Monitor CRM usage, lead follow-up, and appointment setting processes
  • Collaborate with ownership and department heads to maximize performance
  • Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction and compliance
  • Maintain a strong, hands-on leadership presence on the sales floor

Qualifications/Requirements - GSM:

  • 3+ years of automotive sales management experience required
  • Proven success as a GSM, Sales Manager, or similar role
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Experience with dealership CRM and inventory management systems
  • Track record of achieving volume and profitability goals
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Valid Driver's License
