We are seeking experienced, skilled and detail-oriented Garage Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of various types of garage doors. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Garage Door Installer will ensure that all installations meet safety standards and customer satisfaction. We provide the tools and trucks., pay is based on the job with the ability to surpass $35 an hour. $17.50 is just the floor. Any experience in central vacuum installation and service or other low voltage experience would be a benefit

Duties

• Install and repair residential and commercial garage doors, including components such as openers, tracks, and springs.
• Interpret schematics and blueprints to determine installation requirements.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks.
• Fabricate custom parts as needed to ensure proper fitting and functionality.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on installed garage doors to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service throughout the installation process.
• Troubleshoot issues related to garage door operation and make necessary repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at job sites.

Qualifications

Experience in installing residential and light commercial garage doors. Also any central vacuum or other low voltage type work would be a benefit

• Knowledge of electrical systems related to garage door openers is beneficial.
• Strong ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
