This is a unique opportunity to lead and modernize the HR function in a dynamic legal environment where collaboration, compliance, and cultural alignment are paramount.

  • Performance Management & Employee Relations: Manage the firm’s performance evaluation and employee relations programs to foster a high-performing, respectful culture rooted in fairness, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Compensation, Benefits & HRIS Administration: Administer competitive compensation and benefits programs, maintain accurate HRIS/payroll systems, and lead vendor partnerships to ensure operational efficiency and market alignment.
  • Culture, Collaboration & Office Integration: Partner with leadership and staff across all offices to promote a collaborative, inclusive, and values-driven culture, while supporting internal initiatives and employee engagement efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of HR experience in a professional services or law firm environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and enterprise HRIS systems
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Experience managing employee benefits, compliance, and performance programs
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build consensus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to offices outside of Austin
