Job Title: Information Technology Intern Department: IT & Cybersecurity Reports to: Director, IT & Cybersecurity Effective Date: May 2025 Location: Houston, TX Travel: 5-20%
POSITION PURPOSE :
This is a paid temporary, non-exempt position report to the Director, IT & Cybersecurity. Directly support KCE's Director, Information Technology & Cybersecurity in a number of areas including: assisting in the maintenance and oversight of company hardware, software and cloud systems, troubleshooting IT-related issues, documentation review and improvement, remote site networking, and all other duties as required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in performing hardware and software installation procedures.
Provide support in diagnosing hardware, software and networking issues and troubleshooting activities.
Assist with the creation and documentation of IT and Cybersecurity procedures.
Assist with planning and rollout of new IT and Cybersecurity projects and technologies.
Assist in the onboarding of IT resources (hardware and software) for new employees.
All other IT-related duties as required for the broader KCE company.
WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS: Background in Information Technology
Cybersecurity knowledge
MS Azure experience
Very motivated self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work well in a small team
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of working at a computer Key Capture Energy
