About the role:

As a Lead UX Designer you will drive user research, journey mapping, and usability testing to enhance engagement with our wellbeing solutions. You will collaborate with Program Designers on engagement loops and adaptive pathways while working with AI & Data teams to personalize experiences. Your role involves creating seamless digital experiences by understanding users' needs and enhancing their interactions with our products.

What you’ll do:

Research and Insights:

  • Conduct user, market, and competitive research to inform design decisions and product roadmaps.

UX Strategy & Wellbeing-Focused Design:

  • Design intuitive, accessible, and engaging user experiences.
  • Integrate gamification and habit-forming techniques that support sustained wellbeing.
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility and ethical UX standards.

Collaboration:

  • Align UX strategy with business goals, product objectives, and technical constraints across B2B and alliance-driven solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders.

User-Centered Design:

  • Develop personas, journeys, and strategies that address the unique needs of users across multiple platforms.

Data-Driven Decisions:

  • Leverage user behavior analytics to optimize experience and engagement.

Gamification & AI Integration:

  • Implement habit-forming loops and behavioral triggers that promote ongoing engagement.
  • Personalize challenges and reward systems based on user progress.
  • Use AI for tailored recommendations, stress-adaptive experiences, and intelligent content curation.
  • Develop AI-driven chatbots and virtual wellness coaches to support users.

Thought Leadership & Mentorship:

  • Stay ahead of UX trends, fostering innovation and best practices.
  • Mentor junior team members, cultivating a collaborative and growth-focused environment.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Communicate design vision and strategy, incorporating feedback from B2B clients and alliance partners for continuous improvement.

Design Systems:

  • Develop and maintain UX design systems that ensure consistency and scalability across digital platforms.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in UX Design or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in UX strategy and design.
  • Expertise in user-centered design principles and research methods.
  • Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).
  • Strong knowledge of gamification and behavioral psychology applied to wellbeing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in B2B and alliance-driven solutions is a plus.

Pay & Benefits:

The anticipated salary range for this position starts from $140,000 . Compensation offered will be determined by level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for a bonus incentive as part of a full salary package. In addition, Roundglass offers comprehensive benefits: Regular 9 federal holidays and 1 floating holiday, 3 days of bereavement, 2 days of jury duty, medical/dental/vision with PPO/HSA plans with employer contribution, EAP provided by CIGNA and Standard, Pet Insurance for your furry friends, Basic Life/LTD/STD employer paid, 401k plan with maximum match of $5,000.00, PTO (paid time off) 120 hours to start and increased by years of service. Some benefits are not applicable for Part-Time Employment & outside of the United States.
