Marketing Content Creator

We're looking for a passionate, faith-driven Content Creator to help shape and share the voice of Lakewood Church across our vibrant digital platforms, reaching and engaging our community of nearly 40 million subscribers worldwide. In this dynamic role, you'll ideate, craft, and produce compelling content that uplifts and inspires, promoting Lakewood Church, as well as our Young Adults, Youth, and affiliated ministries. From social media campaigns to creative storytelling assets, you'll bring bold ideas to life and play a key part in sharing our message of hope and love with a global audience.

Essential Job Functions

• Conceptualize and create a wide range of video content for digital distribution, including promotional campaigns, dynamic storytelling pieces, powerful testimonials, sermon highlights, and timely announcements, tailored to resonate with our diverse online community.
• Design and deliver visually engaging multimedia assets by combining photography with copy and eye-catching graphics that align with our brand and message.
• Curate culturally relevant, platform-specific content with a special focus on Youth and Young Adults, ensuring each piece speaks authentically to its intended audience.
• Capture and edit content optimized for today's leading social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and YouTubeleveraging each platform's strengths to maximize reach and impact.
• Implement the latest editing technologies and tools to enhance workflow efficiency, strengthen social strategy, and boost audience engagement.
• Maintain high-quality standards in both video and audio production, with a keen understanding of broadcast-level specifications, both in post-production and during live on-location shoots.
• Collaborate with teams to plan, capture, and deliver content for all Lakewood Church servicesincluding Youth Services, Young Adult Services, and key Signature Events such as retreats and campshelping to tell meaningful stories across every experience.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Ministerial Duties

As an employee of Lakewood Church, you are part of a 60+ year legacy of faith. You are a key part of our mission to take the hope found in Jesus to the world. As part of your responsibilities, you are considered a spiritual leader in the Church. You are responsible for communicating the Church's beliefs and mission to our congregants, maintaining a lifestyle consistent with the Scriptures, and are required to belong to the Church as part of our faith community.

This will include:

• Regular attendance at Church services and classes
• Serving as a Prayer Partner or as a volunteer in any ministry of the Church
• Serving the community through local outreaches when needed by the Church

Qualifications

• Uncompromised commitment to Lakewood Church's vision, mission, values, and core beliefs
• Strong portfolio demonstrating photography and video skills
• Proficiency with office software, including Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and DaVinci Resolve
• Strong communication skills
• Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal skills, and a friendly disposition
• Ability to give and receive constructive criticism
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Education & Experience

• Minimum of an Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred
• Experience creating social content for Instagram, X, Facebook, and TikTok is required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with videography systems (Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut) and creative software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
