Mechanic Job Overview

We are looking for entry-level mechanics eager to develop their skills and grow into experienced diesel mechanics. This role provides hands-on training, starting with foundational tasks and progressing to advanced troubleshooting and repair. Our goal is to strengthen our off-shift team, offering a clear path for career advancement to those with the right attitude and dedication.

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and heavy equipment .
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues .
• Utilize diagnostic testing tools to pinpoint problems and implement solutions.
• Assist with fabrication and repair tasks as needed.
• Conduct lube tech duties , including grease and tire maintenance.
• Inspect and maintain brake systems for safety and reliability.

• Basic understanding of diesel engines and mechanics .
• Experience in troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems and preventive maintenance practices.
• Ability to perform diagnostic testing and accurately identify issues.

• Strong mechanical aptitude .
• Experience with heavy equipment , particularly Peterbilt .

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $70720.00/yr.
