Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel Sterile Processing Technician for a travel job in Cleveland, Ohio.

Job Description & Requirements

Position: Central Sterile Processing Technologist III (CSPT)
Shift Options:

• Nights: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Evenings: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Rotating: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM / 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
  Hours: 40 per week
  Contract Length: 13 weeks (Guaranteed hours)
  Urgency: Normal

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination, tray assembly, sterilization, and stocking of instruments and supplies.
• Meet required productivity of at least 5 trays per hour.
• Ensure compliance with AAMI standards.
• Work weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Experience: 8–10+ years as CSPT (non-travel experience required).
• Certification: Active CRCST or CSPDT.
• Trauma Experience: Solid Level I Trauma Center experience.
• Ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8–10 years of sterile processing in a Level I Trauma Center.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One of the following:
  • Medical instrument processing experience with ≥1 year Central Service hospital experience.
  • Graduate of an accredited sterile processing program (C or better).
  • Medical instrument processing experience and current enrollment in an accredited sterile processing program (C or better).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, and walk intermittently.
• Stand or sit for extended periods.
• Visual and auditory ability (with or without correction).
• Push/pull up to 350 lbs. and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Possible exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, and chemicals
